Character's Name: Emma Dyn

Character's Backstory:

Emma is a young English female from the United Kingdom, currently at the age of twenty. Emma was a news reporter, working in Russia before everything went to shit, and once it did she found herself hopping from transport to escort until she just didn't want to anymore. Once arriving in Ukraine she traveled around with a few fellows whose names she never learned. They heard of a place called the Zone, and heard that the money, if you succeed, would be good. So they decided to head for it. On the way there, Emma's escort got attacked by Psuedo dogs... Emma ran. She could do nothing for the men that she had traveled with for the past few days, she ran and ran and heard their screams and desperate gunshots. Eventually Emma collapsed in exhaustion, using nearby sandbags to prop herself up. She was sobbing in fear.
It was then that she looked at the strangers around her. At first she was scared and started to crawl away backwards, but soon after she learned they meant her no harm. She arrived in the zone. A small little safe-spot called Loner-Town. There she sat for weeks... drinking and spending the last of her money. She was haunted by the fact that she thought so little o the men that she was travelling with that she never cared to learn their names...
A few weeks later she snapped out of it, she said if she was going to die it was going to be worthwhile. So then she started speaking to local Traders and learning the ins and outs of the Trade. She eventually set up a small stock, and is now ready to help the people of Loner Town as best she can. After-all, if she's going to die, she wants to die with at least a small burden lifted off her shoulders.

Character's Method of Supply:

Emma's method of supply comes through other local traders that she has made friends with, who happen to give her small discounts on items to sell, as well as her ties back in the UK. Her people back there go as far as the border and smugglers run the supplies to the edge of the zone. Due to Emma's days being a reporter, she has some shady contacts that gave her information on the darker things, such as organized crime, political scams, etc. Emma also did some dirty work as well in media and gave some of the more 'troubled' contacts media well-being, meaning she would divert the media attention away from them so the heat would die down, making them owe her some favors. This has given her the ability to have them run to the border and leaves supplies. Emma then runs out to the edge of the zone and collects the supplies, bringing them back to Loner Town to sell to the Stalkers. Emma is able to make these runs to collect her supplies due to her natural ability to move quickly and quietly. In cases where as she has been informed of a large supply drop, she hires local men to escort her there and back.

I'm not sure I really approve of the method of supply. There's a large difference between a scavenger and a trader. A trader has access to the business menu, which would have to be supplied from a reliable source. Where-as if you're just a scavenger, I would encourage you to just scavenge on the server, and sell what you actually do manage to find.

Another contradiction I'm seeing - your character was a reporter. Where do her contacts she uses to smuggle guns illegally into the Ukraine come from? What's she done to get them to stick their necks out for her? Could you elaborate on that some?
